The Revenge of the Judge

As Tonya reflected on her life these days, she often flashed back to the night
of the break-in at the church.  In those days, Tonya had been Anthony, startinghalfback on the freshman football team.  It was dumb, she admitted, but she
wanted money for a little pot.  Darn those security cameras!  When court dayarrived,  the judge imposed a sentence of 39 months in Johnson Hall for Juveniles because of the previous arrests Anthony had on his record.  His parents were really mad. He soon discovered that they had a deal with the judge to
transfer him to Miss Allison’s School for Charm and Poise.
But that was only the start of what was ahead.
As soon as he arrived at Miss Allison’s he was given a pink hospital gown and placed on a gurney.  A shot from Miss Allison quickly put him to sleep, and the next thing he remembered was waking in a well decorated girl’s bedroom.  The straps were still in place so movement was quite restricted.  Someone came in to check his vitals, but never
responded when his now high-
pitched voice tried to ask a question.  “What is going on?  What is wrong with myvoice?”
Soon Miss Allison came in and explained.  “This school is for girls only.  As part of the arrangement with your parents and the Court, we have made you a girl so you fit in properly,” she said, holding up a mirror.  “You will spend the remainder of your time here learning how to be a proper girl, and how to use your abilities to effectively
please others.  I think you willfind your training very  complete, thorough and satisfying.”
Tonya had to admit that it was indeed.  Upon returning home, Tonya was welcomed by
her parents and two older sisters, and they all spent the evening getting each other current
on the events of the past 30 months.  Because the surgery and recovery had delayed some
of her education, Tonya was informed that she had now been registered for school as a
junior.  Her sisters couldn’t wait to tell her they had signed her up for the drill team.  And her mother was really encouraging her to go out for girls volleyball.  Tonya said she would do
that for her mother.  “Oh, Tonya, we are having a little get-together tonight, and we have
invited some of your old friends from the football team.  Do you remember Andy?  We
showed him your pictures, and I do believe he wants to start dating his old friend.  You
would like to go out with him too, I’m sure.  You were always so close, and I think you will be
very close again.”
